Deut.10:14-15 14Behold, to Yahweh your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it. 15Yet on your fathers did Yahweh set His affection to love them, and He chose their seed after them, even you above all peoples, as it is this day.

Amos 3:1-2 1Hear this word which Yahweh has spoken against you, sons of Israel, against the entire family which He brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, 2“You only have I known among all the families of the earth; Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”

Exod.34:6-7 6Then Yahweh passed by in front of him and called out, “Yahweh, Yahweh God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; 7who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”
Евр.12:4-10 4Вы еще не до крови сражались, подвизаясь против греха, 5и забыли утешение, которое предлагается вам, как сынам: сын мой! Не пренебрегай наказания Господня, и не унывай, когда Он обличает тебя. 6Ибо Господь, кого любит, того наказывает; бьет же всякого сына, которого принимает. 7Если вы терпите наказание, то Бог поступает с вами, как с сынами. Ибо есть ли какой сын, которого бы не наказывал отец? 8Если же остаетесь без наказания, которое всем обще, то вы незаконные дети, а не сыны. 9Притом, если мы, будучи наказываемы плотскими родителями нашими, боялись их, то не гораздо ли более должны покориться Отцу духов, чтобы жить? 10Те наказывали нас по своему произволу для немногих дней; а Сей — для пользы, чтобы нам иметь участие в святости Его.
Heb.12:4-10 4You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin. 5And you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are reproved by Him; 6For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and He flogs every son whom He receives.” 7It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them. Shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? 10For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our benefit, so that we may share His holiness.
Дан.9:24 Семьдесят седмин определены для народа твоего и святого города твоего, чтобы покрыто было преступление, запечатаны были грехи и заглажены беззакония, и чтобы приведена была правда вечная, и запечатаны были видение и пророк, и помазан был Святый святых.
Dan.9:24 Seventy weeks have been determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Holy of Holies.

Is.40:1-2 1Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God. 2“Speak to the heart of Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has been fulfilled, that her iniquity has been removed, that she has received from the hand of Yahweh Double for all her sins.”

Dan.10:14 Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the last days, for the vision pertains to the days yet future.
Дан.10:20 И он сказал: «Знаешь ли, для чего я пришел к тебе? Теперь я возвращусь, чтобы бороться с князем персидским; а когда я выйду, то вот, придет князь Греции.
Dan.10:20 Then he said, “Do you know why I came to you? But I shall now return to fight against the prince of Persia; so I am going forth, and behold, the prince of Greece is about to come.”
Откр.17:8-12 8Зверь, которого ты видел, был, и нет его, и выйдет из бездны, и пойдет в погибель… 11И зверь, который был и которого нет, есть восьмой, и из числа семи, и пойдет в погибель. 12И десять рогов, которые ты видел, суть десять царей, которые еще не получили царства, но примут власть со зверем, как цари, на один час.
Rev.17:8-12 8The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction… 11And the beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. 12And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.
I. Возвышение Антиоха Епифана / The Rise of Antiochus Epiphanes
Дан.11:21 И восстанет на место его презренный, и не воздадут ему царских почестей, но он придет без шума и лестью овладеет царством.
Dan.11:21 And in his place a despised person will stand, to whom the splendor of the kingdom has not been given, but he will come in a time of ease and take hold of the kingdom by intrigue.
Дан.11:22 И всепотопляющие полчища будут потоплены и сокрушены им, даже и сам вождь завета.
Dan.11:22 But the overflowing might will be flooded away before him and broken, and also the prince of the covenant.
II. Тактика Антиоха Епифана / The Tactics of Antiochus Epiphanes
Дан.11:23 Ибо после того, как он вступит в союз с ним, он будет действовать обманом, и взойдет, и одержит верх с малым народом.
Dan.11:23 And after an alliance is made with him, he will practice deception, and he will go up and gain power with a small force of people.
Дан.11:24 Он войдет в мирные и плодоносные страны, и совершит то, чего не делали отцы его и отцы отцов его; добычу, награбленное имущество и богатство будет расточать своим и на крепости будет иметь замыслы свои, но только до времени.
Dan.11:24 In a time of ease he will enter the richest parts of the province, and he will do what his fathers never did, nor his fathers’ fathers; he will distribute plunder, spoil, and possessions among them, and he will devise his schemes against strongholds, but only for a time.
III. Победа Антиоха Епифана / The Victory of Antiochus Epiphanes
Дан.11:25-26 25Потом возбудит силы свои и дух свой с многочисленным войском против царя южного, и южный царь выступит на войну с великим и еще более сильным войском, но не устоит, потому что будет против него коварство. 26Даже участники трапезы его погубят его, и войско его разольется, и падет много убитых.
Dan.11:25-26 25And he will stir up his strength and heart against the king of the South with a great military force; so the king of the South will wage war with an extremely large and mighty military force for war; but he will not stand, for schemes will be devised against him. 26And those who eat his choice food will break him, and his military force will overflow, but many will fall down slain.
Дан.11:27 У обоих царей этих на сердце будет коварство, и за одним столом будут говорить ложь, но успеха не будет, потому что конец еще отложен до времени.
Dan.11:27 And as for both kings, their hearts will be intent on evil, and they will speak falsehood at the same table; but it will not succeed, for the end is still to come at the appointed time.
Он приказал воинам нещадно бить всех, кто попадется, и умерщвлять, кто станет скрываться в домы. Так совершилось избиение юных и старых, умерщвление мужей, жен и детей, заклание дев и младенцев. В продолжение трех дней погибло восемьдесят тысяч: сорок тысяч пало от руки убийц, и не меньше убитых было продано. Но, не удовольствовавшись этим, он дерзнул войти в святейший на всей земле храм, имея проводником Менелая, этого предателя законов и отечества. Скверными руками принимая священные сосуды и иные вещи, пожертвованные от других царей на возвеличение и славу и честь святого места, восхищая нечестивыми руками, раздавал (2 Маккавейская 5:12-16).
And commanded his men of war not to spare such as they met, and to slay such as went up upon the houses. Thus there was killing of young and old, making away of men, women, and children, slaying of virgins and infants. And there were destroyed within the space of three whole days fourscore thousand, whereof forty thousand were slain in the conflict; and no fewer sold than slain. Yet was he not content with this, but presumed to go into the most holy temple of all the world; Menelaus, that traitor to the laws, and to his own country, being his guide: And taking the holy vessels with polluted hands, and with profane hands pulling down the things that were dedicated by other kings to the augmentation and glory and honour of the place, he gave them away. Дан.11:28 И отправится он в землю свою с великим богатством и враждебным намерением против святого завета, и он исполнит его, и возвратится в свою землю.
Dan.11:28 Then he will return to his land with great possessions; but his heart will be set against the holy covenant, and he will take action and then return to his own land.
IV. Мерзость запустения Антиоха Епифана / The Abomination of Desolation by Antiochus Epiphanes
Дан.11:29-30 29В назначенное время опять пойдет он на юг; но последний поход не такой будет, как прежний, 30ибо в одно время с ним придут корабли киттимские; и он упадет духом, и возвратится, и озлобится на святой завет, и исполнит свое намерение, и опять войдет в соглашение с отступниками от святого завета.
Dan.11:29-30 29At the appointed time he will return and come into the South, but this last time it will not happen the way it did before. 30Indeed, ships of Kittim will come against him; therefore he will be disheartened and will return and become indignant at the holy covenant and take action; so he will come back and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant.
Дан.11:31 И поставлена будет им часть войска, которая осквернит святилище могущества, и прекратит ежедневную жертву, и поставит мерзость запустения.
Dan.11:31 Mighty forces from him will stand, profane the sanctuary fortress, and abolish the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.
Жители же Иерусалима разбежались ради них, и он сделался жилищем чужих и стал чужим для своего рода, и дети его оставили его. Святилище его запустело, как пустыня, праздники его обратились в плач, субботы его — в поношение, честь его — в уничижение. По мере славы его увеличилось бесчестие его, и высота его обратилась в печаль. Царь Антиох написал всему царству своему, чтобы все были одним народом и чтобы каждый оставил свой закон. И согласились все народы по слову царя. И многие из Израиля приняли идолослужение его и принесли жертвы идолам, и осквернили субботу (1 Маккавейская 1:38-43).
Now the inhabitants of Jerusalem were fled, and there was none left in it, and it was become an habitation for strangers, and strangers sat in it. And the sanctuary was made desolate, and the heathen had the dominion thereof; and the holydays were turned into mourning, and the sabbaths into reproach. And the honour of Israel was turned into shame, and their glory into reproach. And king Antiochus wrote to his whole kingdom, that all should be one people, And that every one should leave his own law: and all the heathen agreed according to the commandment of the king. And many of the people of Israel consented to his religion, and they sacrificed unto idols, and profaned the sabbaths (1 Maccabees 1:38–43 (KJV Apocrypha)).
И превознесся Антиох в своих мыслях, не разумея, что Господь на краткое время прогневался за грехи обитающих в городе, почему и осталось без призрения это место. Если бы они не были объяты многими грехами, тогда, подобно Илиодору, посланному царем Селевком осмотреть сокровищницу, и он, лишь только бы вторгся, тотчас был бы наказан и оставил бы свою дерзость (2 Маккавейская 5:17-18).
And Antiochus lifted up himself, and was proud, having no understanding in his heart, because he regarded not the Lord, who had been angry with the inhabitants of the city a little while for their sins, and had delivered it into his hands. For if they had not been filled with a great multitude of sins, as soon as Heliodorus, whom Seleucus sent to search the treasures, had entered, immediately he would have been punished, and would have turned back from his boldness (2 Maccabees 5:17–18 (KJV Apocrypha)).
Дан.11:32 Поступающих нечестиво против завета он привлечет к себе лестью; но люди, чтущие своего Бога, усилятся и будут действовать.
Dan.11:32 And by smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.
Дан.11:33-34 33И разумные из народа вразумят многих, хотя будут несколько времени страдать от меча и огня, от плена и грабежа; 34и во время страдания своего будут иметь некоторую помощь, и многие присоединятся к ним, но притворно.
Dan.11:33-34 33And those who have insight among the people will give understanding to the many; yet they will fall by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for many days. 34Now when they fall, they will be granted a little help, and many will join with them in intrigue.
Дан.11:35 Пострадают некоторые и из разумных для испытания их, очищения и для убеления к последнему времени; ибо есть еще время до срока.
Dan.11:35 And some of those who have insight will fall, in order to refine, purge, and make them pure until the time of the end, because it is still to come at the appointed time.
Евр.12:6 Ибо Господь, кого любит, того наказывает; бьет же всякого сына, которого принимает.
Heb.12:6 For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and He flogs every son whom He receives.
