Смирение – это плод богопознания, в котором человек прославляет Бога, признавая Его абсолютную свободу и находя в этом удовлетворение.
Humility is the fruit of knowing God, in which a person glorifies Him by recognizing His absolute freedom and finding satisfaction in it.
I. Смирение – плод богопознания / Humility is the fruit of knowing God
Дан.4:14 Повелением Бодрствующих это определено, и по приговору Святых назначено, дабы знали живущие, что Всевышний владычествует над царством человеческим, и дает его, кому хочет, и поставляет над ним уничиженного между людьми
Dan.4:17 This edict is by the resolution of the watchers, And the decision is a command of the holy ones, in order that the living may know That the Most High is the powerful ruler over the kingdom of mankind and gives it to whom He wishes and sets up over it the lowliest of men.
Дан.4:22,23 22тебя отлучат от людей, и обитание твое будет с полевыми зверями; травой будут кормить тебя, как вола, росой небесной ты будешь орошаем, и семь времен пройдут над тобой, доколе познаешь, что Всевышний владычествует над царством человеческим и дает его, кому хочет. 23А что повелено было оставить главный корень дерева, это значит, что царство твое останется при тебе, когда ты познаешь власть небесную.
Dan.4:25-26 25that you be driven away from mankind and your place of habitation be with the beasts of the field, and you be given grass to eat like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven; and seven periods of time will pass over you, until you know that the Most High is the powerful ruler over the kingdom of mankind and gives it to whomever He wishes. 26And in that they said to leave the stump with the roots of the tree, your kingdom will endure for you after you know that it is Heaven that rules with power.
Дан.4:28-29 28Еще речь эта была в устах царя, как был с неба голос: «Тебе говорят, царь Навуходоносор: царство отошло от тебя! 29И отлучат тебя от людей, и будет обитание твое с полевыми зверями; травой будут кормить тебя, как вола, и семь времен пройдут над тобой, доколе познаешь, что Всевышний владычествует над царством человеческим и дает его, кому хочет!»
Dan.4:31-32 31While the word was in the king’s mouth, a voice came from heaven, saying, “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is said: the kingdom has been removed from you, 32and you will be driven away from mankind, and your place of habitation will be with the beasts of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you know that the Most High is the powerful ruler over the kingdom of mankind and gives it to whomever He wishes.”
Дан.4:34 Ныне я, Навуходоносор, славлю, превозношу и величаю Царя Небесного, Которого все дела истинны и пути праведны, и Который силен смирить ходящих гордо.
Dan.4:37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
Дан.2:47 И сказал царь Даниилу: «Истинно, Бог ваш есть Бог богов и Владыка царей, открывающий тайны, когда ты мог открыть эту тайну!»
Dan.2:47 The king answered Daniel and said, “Truly your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries since you have been able to reveal this mystery.”
Дан.3:15 …И тогда какой Бог избавит вас от руки моей?
Dan.3:15 …and what god is there who can save you out of my hands?
Дан.3:29 И от меня дается повеление, чтобы из всякого народа, племени и языка кто произнесет хулу на Бога Седраха, Мисаха и Авденаго, был изрублен в куски, и дом его обращен в развалины, ибо нет иного бога, который мог бы так спасать.
Dan.3:29 Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or tongue that says anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego shall be torn limb from limb and their houses reduced to a rubbish heap, inasmuch as there is no other god who is able to deliver in this way.
Дан.5:20-21 20Но когда сердце его надмилось и дух его ожесточился до дерзости, он был свержен с царского престола своего и лишен славы своей, 21и отлучен был от сынов человеческих, и сердце его уподобилось звериному, и жил он с дикими ослами; кормили его травой, как вола, и тело его орошаемо было небесною росой, доколе он познал, что над царством человеческим владычествует Всевышний Бог и поставляет над ним, кого хочет.
Dan.5:20-21 20But when his heart was raised up and his spirit became so strong that he behaved arrogantly, he was deposed from his royal throne, and his glory was taken away from him. 21He was also driven away from the sons of men, and his heart was made like that of beasts, and his place of habitation was with the wild donkeys. He was given grass to eat like cattle, and his body was drenched with the dew of the sky until he knew that the Most High God is the powerful ruler over the kingdom of mankind and that He sets up over it whomever He wishes.
II. В котором человек прославляет Бога / In which a person glorifies Him
Дан.4:31 По окончании же дней тех, я, Навуходоносор, возвел глаза мои к небу, и разум мой возвратился ко мне; и благословил я Всевышнего, восхвалил и прославил Вечноживущего, Которого владычество – владычество вечное, и Которого царство – в роды и родов
Dan.4:34 But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes toward heaven, and my knowledge returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation.
Дан.4:27 царь сказал: «Это ли не величественный Вавилон, который построил я в дом царства силой моего могущества и в славу моего величия!»
Dan.4:30 The king answered and said, “Is this not Babylon the great, which I myself have built as a royal house by the strength of my power and for the glory of my majesty?”
III. Признавая Его абсолютную свободу / By recognizing His absolute freedom
Дан.4:32 И все, живущие на земле, ничего не значат; по воле Своей Он действует как в небесном воинстве, так и у живущих на земле; и нет никого, кто мог бы противиться руке Его и сказать Ему: «что Ты сделал?»
Dan.4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, but He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth; and no one can strike against His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?”
A. Все, живущие на земле, ничего не значат / All the inhabitants of the earth are as nothing
Дан.4:32 И все, живущие на земле, ничего не значат…
Dan.4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing…
Ис.40:15-23 15Вот народы – как капля из ведра, и считаются как пылинка на весах… 17Все народы пред Ним как ничто, – менее ничтожества и пустоты считаются у Него… 22Он есть Тот, Который восседает над кругом земли, и живущие на ней – как саранча [пред Ним]; Он распростер небеса, как тонкую ткань, и раскинул их, как шатер для жилья. 23Он обращает князей в ничто, делает чем-то пустым судей земли.
Is.40:15-23 15Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are counted as a speck of dust on the scales… 17All the nations are as nothing before Him; They are counted by Him as non-existent and utterly formless… 22It is He who inhabits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; It is He who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to inhabit. 23It is He who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth utterly formless.
Деян.17:24-25 24Бог, сотворивший мир и все, что в нем, Он, будучи Господом неба и земли, не в рукотворенных храмах живет 25и не требует служения рук человеческих, [как бы] имеющий в чем-либо нужду, Сам дая всему жизнь и дыхание и все.
Acts 17:24-25 24The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things
Иер.10:23 Знаю, Господи, что не в воле человека путь его, что не во власти идущего давать направление стопам своим.
Jer.10:23 I know, O Yahweh, that a man’s way is not in himself, nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps.
B. По воли Своей Он действует / He acts according to His will
Дан.4:32 …по воле Своей Он действует как в небесном воинстве, так и у живущих на земле…
Dan.4:35 ….but He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth….
Еф.1:11 В Нем мы и сделались наследниками, быв предназначены [к тому] по определению Совершающего все по изволению воли Своей
Eph.1:11 In Him, we also have been made an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will
С. Никто не может противостоять Ему / No one can resist Him
Дан.4:32 …и нет никого, кто мог бы противиться руке Его и сказать Ему: «что Ты сделал?»
Dan.4:35 …and no one can strike against His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?”
Рим.9:18-21 18Итак, кого хочет, милует; а кого хочет, ожесточает. 19Ты скажешь мне: «за что же еще обвиняет? Ибо кто противостанет воле Его?» 20А ты кто, человек, что споришь с Богом? Изделие скажет ли сделавшему его: «Зачем ты меня так сделал?» 21Не властен ли горшечник над глиною, чтобы из той же смеси сделать один сосуд для почетного [употребления], а другой для низкого?
Rom.9:18-21 18So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires. 19You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?” 20On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? Will the thing molded say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this”? 21Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?

Дан.5:22,23 22И ты, сын его Валтасар, не смирил сердца твоего, хотя знал все это, 23но вознесся против Господа небес, и сосуды дома Его принесли к тебе, и ты и вельможи твои, жены твои и наложницы твои пили из них вино, и ты славил богов серебряных и золотых, медных, железных, деревянных и каменных, которые ни видят, ни слышат, ни разумеют; а Бога, в руке Которого дыхание твое и у Которого все пути твои, ты не прославил.
Dan.5:22-23 22Yet you, his son, Belshazzar, have not made your heart lowly, even though you knew all this, 23but you have raised yourself up against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines have been drinking wine from them; and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which do not see, hear, or know. But the God in whose hand are your life-breath and all your ways, you have not honored.
IV. И находя в этом удовлетворение / And finding satisfaction in it
Дан.4:34 Ныне я, Навуходоносор, славлю, превозношу и величаю Царя Небесного, Которого все дела истинны и пути праведны, и Который силен смирить ходящих гордо.
Dan.4:37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
Откр.15:3-4 3и поют песнь Моисея, раба Божия, и песнь Агнца, говоря: «Велики и чудны дела Твои, Господи Боже Вседержитель! Праведны и истинны пути Твои, Царь святых! 4Кто не убоится Тебя, Господи, и не прославит имени Твоего? Ибо Ты един свят. Все народы придут и поклонятся пред Тобою, ибо открылись суды Твои»
Rev.15:3-4 3And they sang the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! 4Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before You, For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
Рим.8:28 Притом знаем, что любящим Бога, призванным по [Его] изволению, все содействует ко благу
Rom.8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose

Jam.1:2 Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials
