От Луки 14:7-11
Рим.10:2 Ибо свидетельствую им, что имеют ревность о Боге, но не по рассуждению.
Rom.10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
Иоан.5:44 Как вы можете веровать, когда друг от друга принимаете славу, а славы, которая от Единого Бога, не ищете?
John 5:44 How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the only God?
Лук.14:7-11 7Замечая же, как званые выбирали первые места, сказал им притчу: 8когда ты будешь позван кем на брак, не садись на первое место, чтобы не случился кто из званых им почетнее тебя, 9и звавший тебя и его, подойдя, не сказал бы тебе: уступи ему место; и тогда со стыдом должен будешь занять последнее место. 10Но когда зван будешь, придя, садись на последнее место, чтобы звавший тебя, подойдя, сказал: друг! Пересядь выше. Тогда будет тебе честь пред сидящими с тобою, 11ибо всякий возвышающий сам себя унижен будет, а унижающий себя возвысится.
Luke 14:7-11 7And He was telling a parable to the invited guests when He noticed how they were picking out the places of honor at the table, saying to them, 8“When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not recline at the place of honor, lest someone more highly regarded than you be invited by him, 9and he who invited you both will come and say to you, ‘Give your place to this man,’ and then in shame you proceed to occupy the last place. 10But when you are invited, go and recline at the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher’; then you will have honor in the sight of all who recline at the table with you. 11For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Лук.14:5,6 … если у кого из вас осел или вол упадет в колодезь, не тотчас ли вытащит его и в субботу? 6И не могли отвечать Ему на это.
Luke 14:3-6 …“Which one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?” 6And they could make no reply to this.

Лук.14:11 ибо всякий возвышающий сам себя унижен будет, а унижающий себя возвысится.
Luke 14:11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
I. Дефицит смирения / Deficit of Humility
Лук.14:8,9 8когда ты будешь позван кем на брак, не садись на первое место, чтобы не случился кто из званых им почетнее тебя, 9и звавший тебя и его, подойдя, не сказал бы тебе: уступи ему место; и тогда со стыдом должен будешь занять последнее место.

A. Первенство / Superiority
Лук.14:7,8 7Замечая же, как званые выбирали первые места, сказал им притчу: 8когда ты будешь позван кем на брак, не садись на первое место…
Luke 14:7,8 7And He was telling a parable to the invited guests when He noticed how they were picking out the places of honor at the table, saying to them, 8“When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not recline at the place of honor…”
Лук.9:46 Пришла же им мысль: кто бы из них был больше?
Luke 9:46 An argument started among them as to which of them might be the greatest.
Лук.22:24 Был же и спор между ними, кто из них должен почитаться большим.
Luke 22:24 And there arose also a dispute among them as to which one of them was regarded to be greatest.
B. Уважение / Esteem
Лук.14:8 когда ты будешь позван кем на брак, не садись на первое место, чтобы не случился кто из званых им почетнее тебя

Иоан.5:44 Как вы можете веровать, когда друг от друга принимаете славу, а славы, которая от Единого Бога, не ищете?

Лук.7:6 …И когда Он недалеко уже был от дома, сотник прислал к Нему друзей сказать Ему: не трудись, Господи! Ибо я недостоин, чтобы Ты вошел под кров мой
Luke 7:6 …and when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself further, for I am not good enough for You to come under my roof.”
Матф.15:26,27 26Он же сказал в ответ: нехорошо взять хлеб у детей и бросить псам. 27Она сказала: так, Господи! Но и псы едят крохи, которые падают со стола господ их.
Mat. 15:26,27 26And He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” 27But she said, “Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
C. Стыд / Shame
Лук.14:8,9 8когда ты будешь позван кем на брак, не садись на первое место, чтобы не случился кто из званых им почетнее тебя, 9и звавший тебя и его, подойдя, не сказал бы тебе: уступи ему место; и тогда со стыдом должен будешь занять последнее место

Быт.2:25 И были оба наги, Адам и жена его, и не стыдились.
Gen.2:25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
Быт.3:10 Он сказал: голос Твой я услышал в раю, и убоялся, потому что я наг, и скрылся.
Gen.3:10 And he said, “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
1Кор.4:3 Для меня очень мало значит, как судите обо мне вы или [как] [судят] другие люди; я и сам не сужу о себе.
1Cor.4:3 But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court. In fact, I do not even examine myself.
II. Призыв к смирению / Call to Humility
Лук.14:10 Но когда зван будешь, придя, садись на последнее место, чтобы звавший тебя, подойдя, сказал: друг! Пересядь выше. Тогда будет тебе честь пред сидящими с тобою
Luke 14:10 But when you are invited, go and recline at the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he may say to you, “Friend, move up higher”; then you will have honor in the sight of all who recline at the table with you.
Фил.2:3 ничего [не делайте] по любопрению или по тщеславию, но по смиренномудрию почитайте один другого высшим себя.
Phil.2:3 doing nothing from selfish ambition or vain glory, but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than yourselves
III. Благословение смирения / Blessing of Humility
Лук.14:11 ибо всякий возвышающий сам себя унижен будет, а унижающий себя возвысится.
Luke 14:11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
1Петр.5:6 Итак смиритесь под крепкую руку Божию, да вознесет вас в свое время.
1Pet.5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time
Ис.2:11-17 11Поникнут гордые взгляды человека, и высокое людское унизится; и один Господь будет высок в тот день. 12Ибо [грядет] день Господа Саваофа на все гордое и высокомерное и на все превознесенное, – и оно будет унижено… 17И падет величие человеческое, и высокое людское унизится; и один Господь будет высок в тот день
Is.2:11–17 11The lofty look of man will be made low, and the men made high will be bowed down, and Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day. 12For Yahweh of hosts will have a day of reckoning against everyone who is proud and high and against everyone who is lifted up, that he may be made low…17The loftiness of man will be bowed down, and the men who are high will be made low; and Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day
Пс.146:5-7 5Велик Господь наш и велика крепость [Его], и разум Его неизмерим. 6Смиренных возвышает Господь, а нечестивых унижает до земли. 7Пойте поочередно славословие Господу; пойте Богу нашему на гуслях
Ps.147:5-7 5Great is our Lord and abundant in power; His discernment is infinite. 6Yahweh helps up the afflicted; He brings down the wicked to the ground. 7Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving; sing praises to our God on the lyre.
Чис.29:7 И в десятый [день] сего седьмого месяца пусть будет у вас священное собрание: смиряйте [тогда] души ваши и никакого дела не делайте
Num.29:7 Then on the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall humble yourselves; you shall not do any work.
Ис.66:2 …А вот на кого Я призрю: на смиренного и сокрушенного духом и на трепещущего пред словом Моим.
Is.66:2 …But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.
Ис.66:3 Заколающий вола – то же, что убивающий человека; приносящий агнца в жертву – то же, что задушающий пса; приносящий семидал – то же, что приносящий свиную кровь; воскуряющий фимиам – то же, что молящийся идолу…
Is.66:3 But he who slaughters an ox is the one who strikes down a man; He who sacrifices a lamb is the one who breaks a dog’s neck; He who offers a grain offering is the one who offers swine’s blood; He who offers a memorial offering of frankincense is the one who blesses wickedness…
Фил.2:5-9 5Ибо в вас должны быть те же чувствования, какие и во Христе Иисусе: 6Он, будучи образом Божиим, не почитал хищением быть равным Богу; 7но уничижил Себя Самого, приняв образ раба, сделавшись подобным человекам и по виду став как человек; 8смирил Себя, быв послушным даже до смерти, и смерти крестной. 9Посему и Бог превознес Его и дал Ему имя выше всякого имени
Phil.2:5-9 5Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name
